TERMS + CONDITIONS
Your order becomes reserved only when the order invoice is drawn up and a 50% (100% in case the order is booked less than 2 weeks in advance) booking retainer is received. The retainer is paid to reserve your date & is NON-REFUNDABLE in the event of a cancellation. Order dates are first come first serve & we only do a limited number of orders per week. However, if you need to change dates or move your event, please call us & we will do everything we can to accommodate your circumstance. Please note, sketches are only supplied on orders over $200.
Acceptable forms of Payment: PayPal, Zelle.
Note: Payments must clear before “payment” is considered paid-in-full.
We ask that you give at least 2 weeks notice for all orders. There is a full payment required for any rush orders (orders less than 2 weeks) & the total amount is due immediately. Rush orders are subject to a rush order fee of $30. We are happy to accept payments on the final contract price - however, all monies must be received 7 days prior to the event or your order will not be made & all payments made will be non-refundable/non-transferable after the 7 day lock-out date unless special arrangements have been made beforehand.
Changes to your order: size, description, flavors, etc. will be accepted until 7 days prior to the event date. After that lockout date we cannot accept any changes. Changes may require additional payment.
DELIVERY & SETUP
Delivery & setup are required for most wedding cakes over 2 tiers & for some multiple tier special occasion cakes. Delivery is a minimum of $20 for cakes within a 10 mile radius of Delabhe Cake Studio in Gage Park. If you want to pick up your cake, please make arrangements beforehand. You hold all responsibility to integrity of the order once picked up from Delabhe Cake Studio. A Delivery Recipient signature is needed at time of delivery. They are signing off that the order has been received and set-up in good condition to match this contracts description.
In the event of cancellation: Orders cancelled prior to the 7 day lockout date can be refunded up to 50% of balance paid. The 50% retainer will not be refunded. Orders cancelled after the 7 day lockout date will not be refunded. In the event that something occurs to effect your scheduled event date, please contact us to discuss options. Communication is key, if you are up-front about any issues about your date we will work hard to accommodate you. We understand things can come up that are out of your control.
We promise to do everything in our power to deliver you an order that exceeds your expectations. We will work with you on every level to make sure you are completely satisfied with your cake. Please note that colors & design of actual order may vary slightly from computer mock-up due to the nature of digital and edible components.
In the case of an emergency or an error in your order delivery, please contact us immediately so we can fix the issues right away! In the rare case that you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please call us the day of your event & explain the situation 773.983.1006.
